    How often do you get to get a close look at your biggest adversary fighting a battle at close range, and just observe how things play out

      Maybe the current state of the Russian army is in part caused by them seeing how absolutely one-sided that fight was and just giving up.

        The “Iranian navy” was two frigates vs a carrier with destroyer escorts and three missile frigates. It was like spectating a fight between a starving toddler and a rabid mastiff.

        Like, yeah, the mastiff won. Any mastiff would win. Its pedigree was irrelevant, even if it was impressive.
