I can imagine what the author might mean by those things, but the key word there is imagine.
Didn’t think I’d ever see an article that should have been a video instead of the other way around!

I’m not gonna read anything else you say 🥳
For anyone feeling targeted by this meme, here are some ways to help:
We need to be screaming praises from the rooftops for anyone and any organization that is telling Trumpublicans to get fucked.
Wow, even with an insurance payout I have to imagine that’s crippling for a beekeeper.
Also, escape is a weird way to spell ‘swarm because their homes were violently destroyed’.
That’s crazy!
The cow/graveyard game, finding signs that start with each letter of the alphabet, finding license plates from the most states, punch buggy of course, and if my parents were pissed off the silent game was enforced.
But NEVER counting the number of cars you see. That was bad luck.
Gonna be honest, I somehow missed all the dates on this post because I zeroed in on freecupholder.exe, lmao. Late 90s was when I saw it first, but it’s totally believable to me that people were doing this in 2006.
Funny that they’re calling them AI haters when they’re specifically poisoning AI that ignores the do not enter sign. FAFO.
It was a more innocent time. I was introduced to cupholder.exe from my mom, who got it from a coworker’s chain email, as all things spread in those days. I think it might have specifically been called a coke can holder in the email because we were in the south, lol.
But what was really interesting, and took me much longer to figure out, was that the hawk always attacked when the car queue was long enough to provide cover all the way to the small tree, and that only happened after someone had pressed the pedestrian crossing button. As soon as the sound signal was activated, the raptor would fly from somewhere into the small tree, wait for the cars to line up, and then strike.
That meant that the hawk understood the connection between the sound and the eventual car queue length. The bird also had to have a good mental map of the place, because when the car queue reached its tree, the raptor could no longer see the place where its prey was and had to get there by memory.
It was an immature bird. Cooper’s hawks rarely nest in cities in our area but are common winter visitors. So the bird I was watching was almost certainly a migrant, having moved to the city just a few weeks earlier. And it had already figured out how to use traffic signals and patterns. To me it seemed very impressive.
Emphasis mine. That’s wild!
I feel so much more normal for just saying hello to my shower spider now.
That’s the only mod action for the entire community, if it’s a coincidence it’s a wild one.
lmao, the only mod action on his account was removing him as the mod of [email protected] three days ago, after he was already dead.
Which was the day after the bombing, FBI must have been up LW’s ass pretty quick.
Not even! I think it was a combination of high UV hitting me from the sun and it getting reflected from the pavement. That can be a real danger at the beach, too, even under an umbrella.
I’ve burnt in 15 minutes here, probably 10-11 UV when it happened. Now I wear a sun jacket so I’m not slathering sunscreen on myself all the time, because that’s a sensory nightmare for me.
It feels like Ren & Stimpy sometimes because one of the writers (Katie Rice) did work on the Ren & Stimpy reboot! So you’re spot on with picking up on that. IMO that adds to it rather than detracts because so much of R&S was making references to or riffing off the ‘golden age’ of cartoons that Looney Tunes was part of, but if that style of humor is boring to you then I could see it detracting from the movie. I wasn’t constantly cracking up or anything, but I was smiling and laughing more than I was bored. Which honestly feels like a huge hurdle for movies now, lol.
I saw this during the theater run and it’s really funny, I recommend it if you like Looney Tunes even a little. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did!
Hm, I guess this is esoteric in the sense that most people aren’t interested in it?
Some clothes are made with what’s called ‘slub cotton’, which is cloth made from cotton thread that has irregular lumps jutting out of it. It gives the final woven fabric an interesting look, almost like static. If it’s done with bright or contrasting colors it can give a really interesting pop to the final item.
EY! I’m WALKIN’ ova here!
