  • more of the people bitching about the ultimate candidate actually voted in the primaries

I want to push back on this. “The people bitching” were probably out knocking doors for their candidate with me. It’s just one more insult that moderates use. We don’t have the massive get out the vote machine that the establishment does, but my guess is that the most vocal people are pretty active.

they may have made a difference

“May” is doing a whole lot of heavy lifting here.

The DNC is a private entity able to pick it’s candidate however it deems fit. The primaries are like a basketball game where the refs are wearing the other team’s uniforms.

  • Don’t you feel so much more Freedom™ now that your state government can decide whether or not a pregnant person get healthcare, instead of just leaving it up to her and her doctor? We need to stop the tyranny of the Federal government just deciding carte blanche that any two consenting adults can get married and let communities decide whether to allow miscegenation or if your local community prefers to put a bounty on the heads of mulattos and quadroons. /s

  • a candidate should work to appeal to 100% of their voter base

Less a proposal and more of a fact: People won’t vote for a candidate who does not support the issues that they support. You can’t expect a voter who is against fracking to vote for a candidate who supports fracking.

If Kamala supports fracking and the majority of voters do not, it is up to her to change, not the voters.

i consider this a voter skill issue

Yeah… Democrats want to blame the voters so they can continue to court wealthy donors. If everyone in Michigan promises to “Vote Blue No Matter Who” then they can continue arming Israel without losing any Muslim votes. Unfortunately that’s not how things work.
