I’m happy to see this, my wife and I were about to buy a smart TV. Now I’ll just get the dumb variant.

Don’t forget, that he could just move like the rest of the employees had to.
That’s how it is in the Philippines.
Parking usually sucks, because it’s completely full.
I’ve even seen cars line up for a space to park at the mall.
The parking garages are usually big, but Manila is overcrowded by a significant amount.

There is an open source project that already does this a bit called box86 and box64.
I think you can find videos of people running Skyrim on arm chips like phones or maybe raspberry pi 5.
They don’t run well, but with more powerful chips and valves experience and money, I’m sure they can do it.

Another commenter already gave a great example, I grew up using a crt for gaming and I turn the filter on on a game by game basis. It really does improve the quality of some games. Other games do not rely on it as much.
Mostly game with detailed art look better with it.
On LTT there was a race and the person who chose to install Linux had a huge head start as the install only took a few minutes. While Linus took forever to install windows.
I forget the outcome of the video, but I wish he would show more support for Linux on his channel.

As others have said it’s a government position and it’s delivering mail. I’m not sure if Canadian law, but in think that’s a pretty severe crime in the US.
What if the person didn’t want to deliver medicine because they believed that god will heal everything?
While the mail is hateful, it needs to be delivered.
Also consider that someone paid for the flyers and paid to have them mailed. So this guy is effectively robbing them of two different transactions.
To be clear, I don’t support the flyers in any way, but what the guy did was wrong.

Sadly, I don’t have a pixel.
This is me and my dad so much.
Last year he was complaining about how the owner of the company he works for is retiring and giving the company to his son who doesn’t know anything about the business.
We talked about how the workers could all own a portion of the company and run it themselves.
He agreed that’s how it should work.
But socialism is bad… 🤦♂️
- M500@lemmy.mltoAndroid@lemdro.id•The Huawei Mate XT is a feat of engineering, but is a tri-fold phone necessary?English171·9 months ago
I think its really cool, its just a step closer to have just one device for everything.
I’d love to fold it up and use it as a phone. Unfold it and use it as a tablet when I’m just browsing the web and then connect it to a man role or keyboard and mouse and use it as my “laptop” or desktop.
I have a steam deck for gaming, I don’t really need an entire separate computer for work.
But a device like this should offer a full desktop experience and not some locked down mobile thing.

Thanks! I don’t think this will work for me. Where I live, most of the payments are made directly through banking apps by scanning a qr-code.

Can someone give an example of an app that doesn’t work? I always hear about apps that do work, but is it mostly banking or some other category that doesn’t work typically?

I see what you did there😉
Thanks! Your right. I’m thinking of Singapore. My bad.
Based on a quick google search vpns are often blocked in Saudi, but it says they are not illegal.
I think they block specific provider so hosting your own should solve the problem.
I think they are legal in Korea since Mullvad hosts vpns in Korea.
Double check on these things but it seems like you are good to go.
Luckily they exist in smaller sizes still. I’m just getting a small tv for occasional use.
