And then there’s like 80 reactors moving around the world, docking in our ports.

I thought the Netflix show was pretty clear it wasn’t as bad as popular history made it out to be.
I love the groceries in the front seat because there’s no room anywhere else.
I think they’re talking about the people on TV talking about it, not the protestors themselves.
Oh look, here come the straw men and false equivalencies. So we’re done here. You can’t seem to defend this with anything solid.
Oh the donors are certainly part of it. I don’t want to discount that. It’s just hard for me to write long form and get everything in. Her messaging trajectory though has been interesting. She did actually diverge this past spring, very softly. But over the summer as calls for Biden to step down intensified she started toeing the line.
In a just society that would be a commutation at the very least. You don’t use the death penalty if any doubt exists. Nobody is saying to set the man free. That can be adjudicated later, if at all.
Because that’s a false premise. Barb still uses the environment and the education system. Her doctors and her water do come from somewhere. She has direct, personal, interest in those systems giving good results.
And the proxy is ridiculous. They’re signing school permission slips. Anything big has to wait until the child is old enough to consent, around 16 in most places. Furthermore proxy voting has never worked at scale. It has been abused literally every time it’s been used, which is why we’ve gone to giving one vote directly to each person.
The only thing this is meant to do is juice birth rates and feed into Nationalist Christian ideology about everyone needing to be in a family with kids.
Brexit was voluntary the entire way. The referendum wasn’t even binding. Cameron could easily have said it was too close for a mandate to be clear. Imagine what they would say with an independence vote like that in Scotland.
The British conservative movement wanted Brexit. The real story is they almost didn’t even make it over the line to 50%; they pushed ahead with something that didn’t require a referendum; was obviously becoming a worse idea as the years went on; and was completely reversible right up to the moment they actually left.
Ooo ooo we can do it like buses do. We’ll put a bar on the front that folds out. 3 year olds totally know what that is right? They’ll just get out of the way!

Ugh. Too true. Cars would be 100% better if they weren’t a mass market necessity.
That doesn’t make sense. There’s no logical connection there. Their needs obviously matter because their parents take care of them.
Also, JD isn’t saying to give a 4 year old a vote. He wants to give that kid’s parents an extra vote. There’s no logical connection to those parents using the vote for their child.
And if you’re modifying it to say the children should vote then I’m not sure you understand the actual idea of voting. Voters should be making informed choices and a 4 year old has trouble figuring what cereal they want, and is suspicious of this thing adults call math. Asking them to vote is ridiculous.
Well yeah, but the displaced workers should get a share of the profits. Most proponents of automation are also proponents of a UBI. It’s not supposed to be an existential threat.
No it isn’t. It’s very hard to find Americans willing and to work hours past a normal shift with little to no protective gear in a workplace that makes OSHA look like a bedtime fable.
Put workers in shifts, give them gear, and stop asking ridiculously dangerous stuff, and you’ll find plenty of Americans willing to work the job. The Meat Packing industry is the perfect example of this because they were hiring Americans. Then they decided immigrants were cheaper and they raised the price. This idea of them passing the savings along is literally marketing material. They aren’t dripping prices unless the market forces them to do so.
It was always the boss versus the workers.
In some places yes. In others they’re already more concerned with an ongoing conflict. There are some that just organize their military that way and wouldn’t think of it. Heck that’s the original way of organizing a military.
Civilian vehicles should all have thermals and a night driving HUD. If I’m paying 30,000 dollars then they can damn well put some actual stuff in there. Headlights being weaponized isn’t something we have to tolerate.
It actually does, but it’s a hundred times more useful. It helps make things go boom.
You should check out the safety stuff with them and cars. You’ll stay near one on the road again.
But that cannot be why. My buddy says the ambassador had a good friend, an old roommate, who joined Hezbollah and that’s how they keep in touch.
Isn’t this the actual method of counting they used to fuck the recount in Florida in 2000?
