I don’t care if I’m beng downvoted. The fact is that only one model is predicting a storm. Until all models agree (that’s where your70% come from BTW] there is no reason to sensationalize. Even then, there is no indication on bearing of movement. It could go right into the Yucatan. While I’m aware that the Fox viewers in the Yucatan may be concerned, I’m also aware there are no Fox viewers in the Yucatan. But, hey, hype it all you want.
Someone who is documented to being both a pathological liar and doesn’t pay his bills.

Whatever the reason might be, the fact is that Trump is getting much gentler treatment in 2024 than Hillary Clinton did in 2016. That’s especially concerning given that Trump’s alleged crimes are many orders of magnitude worse than Clinton’s alleged crimes.
That’s not even a storm. That’s the concept of a storm. Call me when it exits in reality and not just a computer.

Just a reminder…There are natural disasters everywhere - and more to come in the era of climate change. Wildfires out west, earthquakes along the Pacific Rim, tornadoes across the south and midwest, blizzards and ice storms in the north, heatwaves everywhere…

Being a douche bag candidate and a douche bag campaign is definitely part of their strategy.
No one said it was a winning strategy
WAPO "Such pugnacity has come to define much of the tone and image of Trump’s 2024 campaign, reflecting the personalities of many of the men leading it as well as the candidate. Trump has long valued being viewed as an alpha male who never apologizes or shows weakness.”
“In many ways, that campaign culture mirrors some of its strategies. Trump and his advisers are calculating that, at a time when polls show voters dissatisfied with the direction of the country, and with turmoil abroad revealing the limitations of America’s global influence, they can win the White House by projecting a particular kind of strength — with a distinctly aggressive vibe not seen in presidential campaigns before.”
“That posture also fits with the campaign’s focus on appealing to young men, who advisers view as a key untapped voting bloc that could help tip the electoral college in Trump’s favor in a closely divided electorate.”

That’s cool. Themods took down this story when I submitted it.
The number of storms and hurricanes that form in October is less than half that of September, the peak month of the season. The storms that do develop usually in the Caribbean, either hit Florida or go into the Gulf. But, this year the oceans are very hot, no doubt due to climate change, and that provides fuel for a hurricane (which is basically a heat engine). Long and short, all bets are off until Thanksgiving
