Other manufacturers don’t care as much about quality so they just deal with the claims.
It’s like comparing a bently to a Honda, no one cares if a Honda gets a warranty claim, but to Bentley, it’s huge.

Any port would be damaged by constantly moving something while connected…… it’s why you hardwire them if you don’t want them being damaged.
People would leave them plugged in damaging the port.
It’s a design to prevent stupid people damaging their products than having to deal with warranty claims that they can’t just tell you “you’re a fucking moron, unplug it to use it and it won’t get damaged”.
That they do actually hit each other and can’t rely on magic camera shots? So if one of them doesn’t do it correctly or the right way they both are in physical danger? They still connect when the stomp their foot for punch effect, they person absorbs it and plays along. Its not “fake” but it is.
Because if not, you are the one that needs the news……
Do people seriously think every scene is magic camera angles? Stunt people know how to take blows and absorb them, it’s because it’s required for realism in some movies. Not every movie can get away with cheap camera tricks that are painfully obvious and break immersion.
You can do real hits while stunt fighting, lots of these modern movies look terrible because you can tell the punch is a foot away.
If you’ve got armor and are meant to take a hit as part of the scene instead of a miss, don’t be bitchy when the person hits you like they are supposed to.
It’s irresponsible to not give it your all, because if that what the person is expecting and you don’t do it… injuries happen.
Wrestling is so popular because it’s real stunt fighting, not this “camera magic” bullshit they try to peddle as real, but makes it look fake.
Point still stands, a dwarf not swinging with all his might wouldn’t make a very good scene at all. Would look like they were catching butterflies.
Extras were mad over someone putting their all into their role. Weird take to be honest.
They were mad he was fulfilling the role?
Would look hella weird if Legolas just flopped into it.
I posted it on my website as fan art and it scraped it. I just used a different filter which falls under fair use.
Hows it a red herring to point out we are allowed to use copyrighted materials already? Its not the concern here, yet its what they are using as the concern for their arguments against it.
I mean anyone can use copyrighted material as inspiration for their work and it’s fair use and not a concern at all.
Is Ai only bad since it can do what a human does better/faster? If that’s that case, than they don’t actually have an issue with the fact it’s copyrighted, or I wouldn’t be able to use it for inspiration either.
Except it’s for any “game news”……, so if they are peddling another game of theirs, it shows up there as well. Or we are selling a plushie, it’s there in the same place. It’s not just patch notes dude… and never has been either.
If people bitch about ads, than they shouldn’t find those acceptable either. You can have a store and showcase products without the additional ads.
I believe they are what people call a hypocrite, they have LOL in their username.
That’s an apt comparison actually, since yeah stores do have ads as well as products….
Edit picture doesn’t seem to be working, here
If it gets in the way of communicating, sure. Butobviouslythatwasn’ttheissue here.
Ads are ads, just because it from the same ecosystem is moot. I don’t need the steamdeck paraded in my face on every page I view. It’s ads
It is, but steam does have its own form of advertising. Their front page is all ads for games and sales, go to your library there is ads for updates for your games.
It just seems to be acceptable since it’s their ecosystem content, but it’s still ads for all intent and purposes.
It’s already in some games unfortunately…
So where do we draw the line on when new words can’t be created anymore? Shakespeare? Wassup? Crunk? Your username even has LOL in it, I don’t think we should be taking language lessons from someone who parades that around….
An online forum lacking in content and engagement isn’t the place to make a stand against minor mistakes that don’t detract from the conversation.
Someone doesn’t know what failure rates are….
If you haven’t experienced it, no one else possibly could….
Fucking lol.
