Microsoft has policy that prevents it from retaliatory actions against human rights violations. Court should rule Microsoft violated its own policies…

Fucking pigs. Just let them make their damn calls. It’s already hard enough to get calls out to lawyers and family, who have to have credit card in hand when answering the phone just to talk to you. It’s really messed up. It’s hard enough just to have the opportunity to use one of these pay phones. And that’s if the damn thing actually works…

We would be a lot better off if Canada were to take over. I’m not sure it would do much for Canada though they don’t want our crazy.

I’m thankful they’re getting some relief. I don’t understand why anyone thinks trans bans are good. It’s more likely trans youth would die from medical issues and having their literal identity stripped away. We simply don’t have the bandwidth to decide all factors of people’s lives. We have to let people choose for themselves, for better or for worse. The best thing we can do is give them all the facts so moreso than not people are making informed choices.

The whole point of judiciary is to resolve damages and it’s actually really important that they can issue orders quickly to prevent “irreversible damages”, courts use injunctions all the time even before coming to any kind of decision in order to give time for due process to happen. Especially when there is possibility of harm coming to an individual.

I was holding hope for the US Marshalls taking action without the AG calling on them based on what they represent, but they have been helping the Trump with his illegal takeovers of DOGE even assisting with breaking and entering… So it’s probably unlikely they will do anything to assist with reigning in the president.

I stopped using gnome after they removed the ability to edit the menu without going through a bunch of hoops. Their idea of removing complexity involved removing choice and customization. KDE has had superior multi monitor support for a long time.

All this immigrant stuff, all it does is make people hate America and fuels the human trafficking scene. The Republicans have installed a faucet to streamline the capturing and abuse of migrant children. Think about it. If you are smuggling people across the border, people without any other options, when we have such harsh penalties all it does is give cartels more leverage over people. It’s so horrible.

I play with controller on PC but I don’t play competitive but honestly… I don’t want to lol. But they should let us play together in competitive. Guess I won’t bother with it cause I like to save my wrists for actual important things on kbm otherwise I have carpal tunnel issues. It would be cool to see controllers on leaderboard with kbm. Gyro aiming is pretty good these days too.

Actually this is wrong cross play is enabled by default and the game will even warn you that you’ll have a harder time finding console only gamers to play with.

Technically all certificates are pinned, especially with public CAs, most OS package the latest CA certs which will all go out of style within 10 years or so. You can see this by loading up any old distro or defunct version of windows.

I’d still be using Ubuntu sometimes if it weren’t for the snaps thing. They only make sense for proprietary software… but snaps still suck. I don’t like packaged software. They contain all kinds of things that can’t be updated. The app store was getting better before all that changed. Now Debian seems better, but I still prefer source based distros like Gentoo because the ingredients come with recipes.

That may be true but vetoing something new and killing ACA are completely different things. Biden wanted to expand on the ACA instead because it would have been able to cover 97% of Americans. So it’s not like Biden was against universal healthcare. On the other hand Republicans are well on their way to kill any hope of universal healthcare and social security. At least with Biden/Harris we would have had one or the other. My mother was saved by Obamacare because she couldn’t get health care with her preexisting conditions.

What are you talking about my dude Trump literally gutted Title X, Medicaid and ACA/Obamacare which is literally closest thing we had to universal healthcare. We need to take some lessons from California there.

They’re all vicious assholes that get irritated by the most mundane things so I’m gonna expect them to sting me and they have for no reason that I could tell… Also these look like yellow jackets, which are particularly annoying but not as annoying as the 4 species of hornets battling for territory around my old house. I think bumblebees are cute though they will boop you and not try to kill you.

Support matrix!! It already has international support, just needs to be a bit better with stickers and qol stuff. I’ve been using it for years. It’s nice to know I don’t have to worry about my privacy at all with chat rooms that can continue on without the original server.
This happens on slower USB devices the data is buffered and the write won’t be complete right away. You can use the “sync” command and wait until it completes to make sure it’s done before you unmount the device. These days KDE shouldn’t let you unmount before it’s done though.
