Oh, yeah, my local wore off halfway through. When they applied more, it felt like they lit my nuts on fire.

My recovery was honestly pretty bad. I was bed-ridden for about 2 weeks, then 8-ish months of aching pain all day every day. Not actually sure when it finally cleared up, I just realized I hadn’t felt the pain in a while. My first nut was about a month after the procedure, and that was also a very unpleasant experience.
My case is abnormal, but even more rare is the guys that continue to be in pain for the rest of their lives. Didn’t find out about that until I started digging deeper because of my persistent pain.
That said, I still 100% recommend getting it done.
He didn’t accept the 2016 results, so I wouldn’t count on it.
I literally said in my comment that Soylent is a splurge that could be replaced with oatmeal. I don’t get it to be cheap, I get it because I like it and it’s pretty good nutritionally. Make that change and you’re under $30, like I usually am outside of that.
Here was this week’s cost, including splurging on a 1lb bag of nuts for snacking: https://i.postimg.cc/GmSJWVxp/Screenshot-20240509-111904.png
More importantly I was replying to your “only ramen or rice and beans” comment, because I don’t eat either of those. I could reduce my costs further if I did, but I like what I eat and don’t need to save money on my food budget.
I spend about that if you exclude my splurge on Soylent for breakfast (substitute oatmeal, for example). I eat wraps that are 90% veggies for lunch and the premix Birdseye veggie/chicken dinners where I can get 2 meals per bag.
I mean, depends on the frozen pizza. 99% of them are worse, but there’s one brand I get at wally world for like $7 a pizza that is better than 99% of the pizza I can order (and we have some pretty solid pizza joints around here).
Had to quit getting them though because they’re like 6000 kcal.
Fractional scaling in Windows is still eh, largely because they can’t do a whole lot about icons not designed for that scale. For example in Rhino a bunch of the icons get weird pixel doubling when running 150% because they were designed for 100% and use a lot of 1 pixel wide elements.
It’s honestly the main reason I keep hanging on to my now 10 and 15 year old displays. I’m hoping for a 6k 32" display so I can run true 200%. Dell makes one but they put a stupid webcam forehead on it.
You also need to be careful when deleting your account - when you do, they’ll send you a “there was an issue with your request” email that tries to get you to register again by prompting you to “log in” to fix it. The log in is creating a password for a new account.
I mean you could kinda do that yourself with UV ink and an appropriate flashlight. Put some in the bowl and some in the tank, maybe even different colors to see which portion contributes more.
I hate soft close lids because they close too slow. The flush is over before it’s half down, which defeats the whole point of a lid. Sure, I could wait an extra 30 seconds, but at that point why not just do the soft close with my own hand?
The bar is too low to be a trip hazard.
This post was jest in time.
So although charging an EV is by no means fossil-fuel-free, it’s considerably less fossil-fuel than an ICE car.
That was my point. Even in the worst case it’s comparable to 60mpg… No ICE gets 60mpg. And in a decade it’ll be even better.
Last time I looked (a few years ago), a 100% coal powered EV had similar emissions to a 60mpg car.
I doubt anywhere will still be coal powered in a decade, with how fast plants are closing. But that EV will still be there on its 3rd owner.
How the hell do y’all remember first grade? I only have the spottiest of memories prior to high school. Heck even that is spotty, just more spots.
So you’re saying Hän is Solo?
I averaged in the ballpark of 12 miles a day for over a week when I visited Chicago. Woke up around 9 every day and basically didn’t sit until 9-10. I was sore for a while afterwards.
It’s funny because if Linux was where it is now, 10ish years ago, I probably would have stuck with it. All I cared about then was basic computering and gaming, both of which are well handled at this point.
Problem is now I’ve spent a decade honing my skills on specialized programs that don’t have good replacements, and realistically even if they did, compatibility and years of learning specific programs have locked me in to Windows.
I think it was only 3 when I first signed up, so that’s an improvement. They probably hit the ones most likely to honor takedown requests, but yeah 190 sites is more than 10. $9 is more than $0 too though, so it’s a balance.
I wonder how many sites like this actually exist. Probably over a thousand would be my guess.
Unfortunately I picked the wrong specialty (architecture). Still trying to get licensed by the end of the year, that’s the only chance I have at another country maybe recognizing my degree. Regardless, it’s not very in-demand.
