At first glance the thumbnail looked like a pepperoni jalapeno pizza.
The reality is much worse. :(

I don’t think either of these would be very fun for the woman they’re attached to…
So glad you asked! There are different types with different names, but the traditional spoonerism is where you switch the first consonant sounds of two different words. The example above is baco tell, which is the spoonerism of Taco Bell.
Reddit has such a tiny, sad little spoonerism community. If we can infect all of Lemmy with it then I’ll be pleased.
I’m not the only one! I drive people crazy in conversations because they’ll be talking to me, and instead of keeping the conversation going I just repeat back what they say as spoonerisms. Also, backwards speak. When my brother and I were little we would be bored lying in bed unable to sleep so we would have conversations saying every word backwards and then try to figure out what the other was saying. We got pretty good at it to the point that my brain processes a lot of what people say backwards and forwards. I’m not as quick about it as I used to be, though.
This is one of my favorites because it grosses my kids out when I say it
Also, if we’re including food ingredients:
Bound greef
Fuck Dat
They’re fucked.
If you have kids or pets, or just have a tendency to be a clumsy person yourself, then glossy is much better from a practical standpoint. So much easier to clean with less risk of rubbing the paint off the wall. To be fair, I don’t have much of an eye for style so it suits me just fine.
No worries, I was just riffing off of your statement. I meant no offense
I’d sure be bored if I couldn’t sing along to songs while alone in a vehicle.
Noooo, this story can make me cry just thinking about it! Putting it in middle school textbooks was evil. Still one of my favorite shirt stories, though.
I’m not sure if it’s like this everywhere in the US, but in the rural part of Georgia I’m from when 911 is called it is required that the police (or deputy), an EMT, and firefighters/first responder all show up to be prepared for any type of emergency. Doesn’t matter what’s reported to the dispatcher, it’s kind of an all hands on deck until someone’s on the scene and the situation is assessed. Not commenting on whether this is the best system, but just an observation that might help answer your question.
I live in the Pacific Northwest and I’m personally more interested in the weather in Spokane.
Soon.
That typo made me chuckle.
That’s grammatically correct in the neck of the woods I grew up.
As someone who has never tried Linux, this meme has done more to make me want to give it a try than anything else Linux users have thrown at me so far. The fox is very convincing. I might step into the back of an unmarked van if it asked me to.
It’s not an arcade-style game by any means, but I can’t recommend “Sky: Children of the Light” enough! My partner and I have been playing it daily for over 4 years and still can’t get enough of it. It’s hard to give it a proper description. It has a beautiful storyline with new seasonal stories that come out every 3 months or so. You play as a child of light whose mission is to banish darkness and shepherd spirits from a post-apocalyptic land into the stars. However, the real core of the game is the social aspect. It’s mmo-adjacent (typical server sizes are 8 players) with other players showing up as other children of light. You slowly make friendships using in-game currency and gifting each other friendship levels. You cannot chat with others at first and must communicate through a variety of emotes until you unlock chat in the friendship tree. The way communication and friendship is handled in the game makes it one of the most friendly and least toxic communities that I’ve found on the Internet. It’s also cross-play and cross-save between Android, iOS, Switch, PlayStation, and Steam. That Sky Game
Over the Garden Wall. It’s not terribly long, yet remains one of the most quoted shows in my family.
They’re all skeletons!
