That’s a way better arena then the one I saw it in. It was way too tiny and they basically had one box jump in the middle, couldn’t do too much.

Holy Hand Grenade*
I’ll keep an eye on this. I use discord exclusively for gaming purposes, and voice chat is pretty important for that bc I’m still on console mostly for the next year or so (building a pc finally, thanks to a new job). So if they can get that going, I could convince several people to switch once I’m also on PC. Till then discord for my PS5 is about the best I can hope for.
R u a grill?
If so, charcoal or propane?
Went to watch thinking “this is gonna be terrible, can’t wait” but now I’m just thinking “can’t wait.”
Could still be terrible, but could also be good.
Thanks for asking, OP. I’m in a similar boat, except I don’t even have a computer to get started with yet, only an old phone if I wanted to use that (not trying to do things on my daily). Thinking of buying a raspberry pi and diving in but dunno where to start.
Have plex and someone kind enough to share their library with me, but it doesn’t have everything I want. Could be worse tho, I suppose.
So ridiculous, it’s a wonderful new coming of age story. I’m very sad it’s over.
I miss when lemmy wasn’t full of fucking libs.
This is just Ronald Reagan with a little chimichurri.
Dewalt is still that well regarded? My dad fucking hates them lol we used to have a good amount of their stuff and then tool after tool broke on him and he won’t buy them unless he doesn’t have a better option (he and my brother are HVAC/plumbers). He likes Milwaukee but thinks they’re overpriced, and has a decent amount of Ryobi stuff now, along with Bosch. My grandpa was the Makita man.
I have a lot of Ryobi and Makita hand-me-downs as a result, haven’t really had to buy much of my own yet, but that’s changing.
Bear down!
Also love the username, fellow Role Models fan?
I’m not saying everyone must dance, but everyone should try dancing multiple times and at different stages of their lives, just like the rest of the items you listed. Failing at something once or not enjoying it once and then swearing it off forever is honestly just sad.
Shakira lol and that’s only kind of a joke, bc she’s amazing at using em. I’d suggest watching YouTube or piped videos, and just watching dancers. Latin dance in particular emphasizes it, so may want to look that direction first. The easiest Latin dance to learn is merengue as that’s just a two step with some extra hip movement that is easy to pick up by watching.
The Orville, of course!
You can claim that, you may even believe it, but that’s all the first steps of dating someone really are. Maybe you don’t do it with dancing, maybe you dazzle them with your vast intellect, but it’s the same thing.
Feel free to stop whenever you’d like lol no one is going to force you to dance like no one is going to force you to reply 😉
That is fair.
I have a hard time believing this mostly because of your attitude towards it. Is it stupid and that’s why you don’t like it? Or you don’t like it, and therefore it must be stupid? Seems like the latter. I’d also disagree that it’s not a useful skill, like any soft or social skill it has its place and it can be surprisingly useful in certain circumstances. For instance, is it useful to be able to impress your preferred gender of person? Or to make them laugh? Dancing can definitely help with that.
When I was younger I thought golf was a useless “dumb” sport, I’m now kicking myself for not picking it up a decade ago because it’s extremely useful for networking and building/maintaining relationships.
See what you can get by putting some subtle feelers out. Talk to a recruiter or two. Best time to search for a job is while you have one, but you don’t have to commit to it full time unless shit really hits the fan. You’re more likely to get written up than fired initially anyway if he’s not the owner, erratic or not he has to answer for that.
Continue working towards whatever certifications you want in the meantime, especially if the job pays/reimburses you for it.
