I watched so much when I was younger but I pretty much stopped 6 or 7 years ago. I’ll watch a Miyazaki movie if my spouse grabs it, but I won’t seek them out.

There was just too much fan service, filler, and melodrama. Not enough substance to make it worth it. My last attempt was My Hero Academia. It was all the tropes I was tired of and I couldn’t get into it. My friend who was watching it with me said it was satirizing those tropes, but I had given up.

I’m sure there are some incredible shows I’m missing out on, and I definitely don’t judge those who still enjoy it. I just don’t line up with the grooves anymores.

They are great for ambient noise based on the surroundings. You can also do one or two ‘instant’ sounds like a large door booming. Any more than that and it starts to feel like a radio dj testing all the fart sounds in their mixer.

If it’s just piano then it’s basically Muzak. The bus itself may even be playing some imperceptibly which you can harmonize with.

I’ve tried headphones with babies before and it’s hit or miss. One would howl instantly if you put them on him while another loved them.

I accidentally spoiled that part for my wife. I had already seen it several times before and was watching it again with her. She had her head on my chest and apparently my heart started beating faster at the ramp up to that part, so she knew what was about to happen and called it right before it happened.

I used to think like the OP/image, but now I’m in your camp. You should absolutely eat things you don’t enjoy if they are good for you. But bad pizza crust is just punishing your mouth while gaining weight.

I understand the food waste argument, but it’s wasted whether you eat it or not. You’re wasting just as much if you don’t eat the peel of the banana.

I am personally familiar with that kind of pirate and I definitely appreciate what they do.
