yeah, but we all know how stupid Australia is now… people here regularly vote against their interests, regardless of how obvious it is.

Time for a full scale house cleaning at the ABC. They need to clean out the rot Morrison and co started.

No evidence… unlike the genocide Israel is committing. Bunch of Nazis they are.

so what? Why is public money being spend to fund religious extremism? You want to make your child a maladjusted head case, pay for it yourself

But, I don’t begrudge people the choice of sending their kid to a private school also getting their $x in government funding. They pay their taxes, they are entitled to the funding.
No, they do not. If we want to make it about tax, those kids are dependents and whomever is claiming them is getting the tax rebates and revenue they are entitled to. Tying individual entitlement to education funding is nonsensical if you think about it for half a second, downright absurd if you think about it in the context of Australias profoundly prejudiced and unequal system.
Never mind the notion that we’re funding religious indoctrination camps with little to no oversight or accountability… go ask women at universities how they like dealing with the cloistered, Tate-farmed freaks produced by these indoctrination camps.

It’s hilariously absurd that everyone is just fine with religious extremists attacking our democratic institutions like this. How would everyone feel about Isis establishing hostile espionage cells in Australia with a view to attacking journalists. Religious people are far too dangerous to be trusted with anything remotely important.

But the situation isnt getting any better, so what do we do here?
maybe we look at addressing the systemic problems we face due to a legacy of slavery and colonialism? We’ve literally only tried the punitive approach; it’s maybe time for Australia to get its fucking act together
i’ve started stealing from ww/coles on principal. fuck them.

i suffer from chronic pain and can’t afford medications going forward. i’m not sure what I’ll do tbh, as it’s not really possible to live like this. There are a lot of medications not covered by the PBS, due to intense lobbying designed to maximize profit on older medications; for me it means using illegal opioids(risking arrest or overdose) or suicide. If I were able bodied I’d try to take a few of those LNP scumbags who did this with me.

the ABC is a joke right now, they need to clean out the stooges left over from Scovid

this is why we need to clean house at the ABC… too many religious extremists put in by Sco-vid

Australians are profoundly simple. Go through this thread and take a look at all the nit-picking around our ‘totally not racist’ claims; it basically boils down to “we let wealthy people come here so we can racially vilify them for political expedience”.
more then 60% of the country just voted along purely racist lines. we are racist, very racist. people coming here should be forewarned.

no, I’m talking about Australians and their culture. Australians acts like their state is a vital and respected world player, in reality it’s just cemented its place as an arrogant and largely irrelevant post-colonial meme that will be completely subsumed by a more powerful Asian neighbour in the near future. The sad hilarity is that all we’re trying to save back home is petty white hubris.

to say it plainly, you’re clearly not very bright. that you actually believe attack advertisements and social media spin, while still maintaining a stream of ‘considered’ opinions really lays out the massive problem Australia faces with wilful, proud, ignorance. that you’re actually daft enough to claim that this will be somehow revisited? jfc…
I don’t care to see anything from a genocidal democracy. Until they stop the killing, they offer nothing of value.
