I love reading, gaming, collecting and repairing old electronics and appliances, tabletop gaming, and flashlights
It’s a proven technology. Did you think Polio and Measles just went away on their own? When the polio vaccine became a thing, people lined up around the street to take them because they had firsthand experience with how debilitating these diseases are. It’s quite literally miracle technology.
People who are against vaccination have been used by con artists who will say anything inflammatory to gain notoriety and money and be on talk shows and sell books. Be mad at the people who fleeced you.
Now these diseases that have no place in modern society are making a comeback because of it.
Also, the fissile material has been radioactively decaying for decades and should no longer be refined enough to go critical.
I wonder if online multiplayer mods could be made for multiplayer games.
Goodwill is particularly bad about this. You can almost never find cool stuff in the stores anymore. It’s all siphoned off for ShopGoodwill.
It was definitely one of my luckiest finds, but I think another part of it was that it was a pay by weight bin outlet. A St. Vincent De Paul in my case. Stuff isn’t individually priced and you weigh your items on a scale when you check out and pay by the pound. It’s usually very cheap because mine has a maximum of $5.00 per item so even heavy things like typewriters have been cheap.
I much prefer bin outlets because of this.
My daily driver laptop is the T410 I found at a thrift store for $5.
You could build one yourself for a fraction of the price with a trip to your local home improvement store. Even starting without tools, it would be cheaper.
GIMP supports WebP now.
I don’t pay for Nitro but I don’t have a problem for people that do. Servers aren’t free so it’s that or ads.
I’m still rocking my Galaxy S8. Gonna use it till the battery is toast.
I’ll get occasional hangups and stuff but it’s definitely useable still.
It seems like half the time there’s a public bathroom in a dream, it’s all dilapidated 1970s yellow and filthier than a truck stop. And/or the stall bottom comes right up to the toilet seat.
I rescued a 2010 Macbook Pro from a recycling dropoff and the previous owner did not wipe it. They had an Excel file with all their logins in it. Bank accounts and all.
Cool, I’ll have to look into that. That’s mainly what’s keeping me from going entirely Linux. I run Mint on my laptop.
Is it possible to mod Bethesda games on Linux?
The CIA and NSA are exactly who we don’t want using it though.
You could walk into a gun store and buy a fully automatic submachinegun until 1986.
2G is dead in most places
The 3DS had an ARM9 processor on the board which is what the DS line used so that it could play DS games natively.
The DSi actually has an ARM7 coprocessor (GBA CPU) just like the DS and DS Lite but lacks the physical cartridge slot. You can play GBA games natively on a hacked DSi.
Actually, the 3DS has an ARM7 core too so it can play GBA games natively as well. Either the Nintendo Ambassador titles, or whatever you want if you’ve installed CFW.
These companies ran these services for years without any of this crap.
Nowadays? You just install it. It’s all plug and play. Mint is great for starters.
The Playstation 2 is a power bottom.
