Probably try to get my identity back. I’m not trying to escape anything currently, and not having documentation is a dangerous thing in the world these days.

I’m usually for personal choice, but smoking needs to go. Good job France.
Oddly this year they are really prevalent in my area. In prior years I haven’t seen nearly as many.
I’m intentionally avoiding lawn treatments and insecticides this year. I love my yard, but I’m also thinking about switching to clover.
I ran it for a while, and loved it. Cinnamon is sleek and feels polished. The installation is really fast and not bloated with garbage software.
Everything generally works, and the interface feels familiar.
It is Ubuntu/Debian under the hood, so compatibility with most software is good. Bleeding edge drivers may run into issues, but most of them work with a little fiddling.
It’s worth a try. If nothing else toss it on a USB drive and give it a test drive.

Some browsers have built in fingerprint resistance techniques you can enable:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/resist-fingerprinting
I wouldn’t entirely trust it, but enabling this feature in strict mode would tick a few of your listed boxes.

Brother laser gang here – highly recommend. I print a handful of things every year and it hasn’t let me down. Still rocking the original toner and I bought it in 2021.
I recently drove eight hours on a trip. It’s brutal, but you’ll be fine.
- download offline maps on your phone
- get lots of music, podcasts, and things to keep entertained
- stop every few hours to stretch your legs, use the bathroom, and maybe get something to eat
- be aware of your route. Think about where you can stop. Be ready for construction and other unexpected delays.
- check your tire pressure before you leave (especially the spare!)
- make sure you have basic stuff like a jack and jumper cables
- make sure you have your license, insurance, and registration
- if you can afford it, dashcams are nice to have

I feel like weed Whacker/Eater are brands like Kleenex. In my head it is a string trimmer.
I usually say “I’m going to trim the yard”.
Port and left have the same number of letters, so that works in a pinch.
7 was decent too; I personally feel like 8 is where things went off the rails.
Last year I owed 10k USD. I certainly cared then.
Overall I don’t think about it until I do my taxes. That said, I’d happily pay more if everyone else got healthcare, good infrastructure, and a clean environment.

I had a third round of a job interview today. I was anxious and sweaty, but it is a remote job.
Unfortunately lots of red flags do I’m going to keep looking.
So you shit in the hand, right?

Bro, I just want to show up in the search queries. It probably won’t ultimately get me a job I want, so there is that, but cast a wide net. Get those bots working.
Ideally you have a network of friends that work at great places which are hiring. If that is the case, congrats. For everyone else, be proud to be open to work.

My problem is there are so few good movies coming out. I’m completely over the superhero crap. I don’t want to see the next random Star Wars thing. I don’t want a remake of a classic film I loved when I was younger.
There are some originals coming out, and that makes me happy, but I think the key is having good movies people actually want to see.
That said I’m interested in seeing Sinners, but I’ll probably wait to stream it, lol.
I’m not dead yet and have a Blu-ray burner and some blanks.
How about multi level parking garages teeming with algae?

I’m cutting back on unnecessary purchases and trying to save more. My job is iffy right now, so on top of the economy I have to worry about that.
We go to a big warehouse store for our basic supplies, so I’m just trying to stay stocked up on essentials. Might buy some n95 masks just in case of a new plague.
