My mom grew up in the rural outskirts of Cincinnati and says youse. Meanwhile my dad, who grew up more inside the city, constantly made fun of her for it.

I got Cincinnati and two random places I’ve never even visited as my top three results, probably because my way of speaking is a super mixed bag from living in different places. Language is weird.

I think it confronted some issues that many of us have been aware of for a long time in a somewhat superficial way. I also think that it brought some conversations into the mainstream that might not have happened otherwise. So I liked it.

My dad found out he was colorblind in kindergarten when he got an X on his coloring sheet for coloring the grass red. I can see how that would be an easy mistake to make if he had protanopia!

In addition to some of the other things mentioned here, I set my alarm early enough that I’m able to take my time getting ready in the morning. Having a little bit of quiet time to myself with a cup of tea really helps set the tone for my day.

I find the Spotify algorithms work pretty well if I’m frequently feeding new music into it. But yeah, otherwise it can get stale pretty quickly.

Same. I’m 37 and I do regular playlist exchanges with my dad’s 70 year old friend (my dad passed away a few years ago and both of us strongly connected to him through music, so we decided to keep that going through each other). We’re both constantly seeking out new music.

Echoing the other comments here. It was right about when I hit 30 that I really started trying to live the life that I want for myself. I still have mental health issues to work through, and sometimes it’s been two steps forward, one step back, but at 37 I can honestly say it’s been an overall positive trajectory.
