Does anyone know what the hospitalization and long covid rates are from this wave? I’m curious how they’ve been trending over time.
Long-covid is the thing that scares me. My brother’s best friend was hospitalized for over a month and still has a lot of problems with energy and lung capacity. I was setup on a date with someone who still had chronic energy issues. I worked with someone who lost their sense of smell and taste for something like six months (the mildest of the three, but even then that sounds awful).
I agree. Hopsilization is the thing I would really want to know about.
I would love to know the percentage of anti-vaxxers. Or those that received the initial version but never followed up on the boosters with the new strains.
And this is why I still use a mask and get all the new vaccines.
