In my teen years and 20s I was a skinny dude, broom legs and arms and flat torso, I’m also very tall for a latino so made it more noticeable. But now that I’m on my mid 30s and that anything that I drink or eat is getting harder to “digest” I’m now overweight, still skinny limbs but with a protruding belly, like majority of Latinos here (we don’t believe in diets) and I don’t care anymore.

I was worried about my look as a kid but then realised that I wasn’t going to do anything with it, I’m not a model or role model for anything, unfortunately I will not be able to have my own family and I’m hoping to have a short lifespan so my health isn’t something that I care that much, don’t give a shit about my life tbh.

There’s a certain sensation of solace with that realisation accompanied by depression, then pain, but hey, life sucks after all, took me 30 years to get there.

Temporary depression is no reason to harm your future. You will care in 30 years when your knees hurt because you’ve been carrying extra weight for 30 years. “Latinos don’t believe in diets” is a ridiculous excuse. No one should be on a “diet”. You eat whatever you want but in moderation at below your calorie requirements and you will lose weight.

I have no future dude I genuinely don’t care. Also Latinos don’t believe in eating small as well. Go ask any Latino household.

Latino here, you can’t generalize what millions of people do or think about something.

I for one am in my forties and take good care of my body, I want to be as healthy as possible for the rest of my life so I can be happy and not a burden to my loved ones.

        Seek help.

Good for you but you’re minority. All people I’ve been surrounded and worked are fat and out of shape. Because they eat more and don’t care about their look. Not a single one in 3 decades looked in shape except as kids and even then we all ate the same amount of “porquerias”
