This meme is old enough to drink.
I tried to drink it but nothing happened? Maybe next year
You must have a Mac.
Not exclusively, but yes. I feel called out.
Gotta drink the thermal paste
nah use it as toothpaste
I was curious so I checked.
Aqua OS X logo is 2001-2007.
MS Vista - 7 Logo is 2006-2020.
Seems like you are correct it if the meme creator used the most recent logos at the time. So 17 or 18 years old.
It’s almost too old for Leo to date.
whos Leo
Decaprio
oh that guy, everything makes a lot more sense now
18 years old is old enough to legally buy alcohol.
Really depends on where you are.
Most of Europe the age is 18. Some countries goes as low as 16. In North America, in Canada it is 18 for 3 provinces, in the USA it depends on the state. Puerto Rico is 18. Mexico it’s 18. Nearly all of South America it is 18 with a couple of exceptions where it is 16 and one case where it is 20. Most of Africa it is 18. Asia is mix but China it is 18.
So in the vast majority of places, my initial statement that 18 is old enough to legally buy alcohol was correct.

I don’t think Windows user disagree with privacy per se. IMO, it’s more that they believe the lie that privacy is a myth, despite the fact it was had in abundance hardly more than a decade ago.
If my experience in the heavy industry is any indicator, windows users believe that green crayons taste the best.
I might be an idiot, but I’m not going to use a Mac.
This meme also perpetuates the myth that to use Linux you must be an IT person. I just use it as a user.
This meme is old enough to drink beer now - in the US
This meme has the logos of the OSs from around 2007. Back then there weren’t many Linux non-IT users.
2024 version: Are you an idiot? Windows Do you swim in money? Mac No? Linux
I have a life and that’s why I use Linux because I don’t have 3h to wait for a single forced windows update
I am self aware enough to know that I am an idiot, but still use Linux and Windows.
Take that, flow chart!
MacOS is a great os, and it comes with solid hardware. If you use your laptop for anything except gaming, and you can pay premium, a mac is a really good choise. Also, it’s a lot easier to develop apps for iphones from macs, and that’s a thing that a lot of people do.
I’ve switched my laptop from an XPS machine to an M1 Pro MBP, and it’s genuinely been one of my best purchases. I can easily do my work for an entire day, and more often than not, I can spend like 3 nights in a row watching something in bed too. Not to mention that it doesn’t run like a furnace, even under load
Idk why people say “pay a premium”. MacBook Air is like $1000 bucks. Other laptops are also in this range.
Also, you’re never going to spend a second worrying about making the thing work or fixing an error. Even Windows requires fixing problems and installing drivers sometimes. I guess it depends on how you value your time. I’ve spent hours on linux and windows troubleshooting. I’ve never spent a second on macOS.
Not all people can afford a $1000 laptop, and in most countries, it’s considered as a really big price
Also, it’s a lot easier to develop apps for iphones from macs, and that’s a thing that a lot of people do.
Given that’s actually the only way to do it… (Without resorting to jumping through hoops via emulation)
And that is why my code will never be multiplatform. No way I’m going to sink several thousand dollars for a machine I will never use except as part of my build pipeline.
Mac mini $500 and refurbs are cheaper.
the amount of mold…
HAHAHHAA APPLE BAD SUCH LEMMINGS HAHAHA IT’S 2010 AND I’M SO BRAVE
For accuracy, flip Windows and Mac in that diagram
Thank you, my twitch is now subsiding.
You forgot your obligatory BtW i uSe ArCh, kiddo…
Wait I’m an idiot who has a life. Why am I on Linux?
Stop bragging 😤
Linux users are just idiots who don’t have a life
I use NixOS btw
But I can’t afford a Mac :(
Buy more money.
You can just print more, dummy
Just install it from AUR.
I’ve used Mac OS since 1988, BSD/UNIX since 1990, Linux since 1993 and Windows since 1995.
Due to my expertise with all these operating systems, I make enough money to have a life.
I predominantly use Apple hardware, partly because I can easily run all these OSes on it.
The Intel “cheese grater” pros were a dream multi-boot machine. EFI, clean, capable of great RAM, nice drive bays, dual ethernet.
