Yes, the doctor as you know them could be argued to be billions of years old. That being said, arguments could also be made that they are only maybe a couple hundred years old.
I havent seen any of the newest releases, but on his most recent outing david tenent split into two. So you could argue that that created a new doctor, which is the one we follow now.
The Doctor was in his 200s when he stole his TARDIS.
Or was he? Apparently he’s infinitely old and has regenerated an infinite amount of times or something like that. I can’t even keep up anymore.
