A study by the Bertelsmann Foundation, published on Friday, confirms a trend that predates October 7. Only 36% of respondents today express a positive opinion of Israel, which is 10 points less than in 2021.

Drag believes it’s possible as you say, but drag doesn’t think it should be done. Jewish and Muslim Palestinians lived in peace together under one flag before the Nakba. The existence of Israel has torn neighbour from neighbour and parent from child. It’s bad.
If the genocidal elements of the Israeli government were overthrown, then the peaceful Jewish politicians should be seeking reconciliation with their Palestinian siblings. The focus should be on opening the borders and democratising all of Palestine’s land under a single flag of peace.
Israel and Hamas would ideally be making deals to see the deradicalisation of both governments to prepare for reunion.
